The following services are available to Medical Students:
- Access to the online collection from any CCFL computer on campus
- Current e-book and e-journal collections
- Access to 691 E-Books
- Access to Paid and Open Resource (Free) E-Journals (4,671 titles)
- Access to patient education and information resources
- Photocopy/scanning facilities
The library’s online resources are available 24/7 anywhere on and off campus. To register for a library account follow the link on the Goldblatt Medical Library webpage (https://my.clevelandclinic.libguides.com/florida).
The librarian is available for consultations, both in person and virtually, M-F, 8AM to 4:30PM. Evening and weekend consultations are available via appointment via the link located on the Medical Library webpage.
General Rules
- All books in the library are for reference purposes only and are non-circulating. They shall not leave the library without strict permission from the librarian.
- You are free to scan portions of books as needed.
- Users are responsible for complying with the U.S. Copyright Act while photocopying library documents.
- Please keep personal belongings off the floor and utilize the cubbies.
- Do not leave personal belongings unattended.
- The librarian is not responsible for the safety of your personal belongings
- Please clean your space before and after each use with the provided cleaning supplies.
- Library office supplies: paper, staplers, pens, etc. are not to leave the library.
- Users are free to read, write, study, and use personal laptops in the open table spaces.
- Be courteous and limit time on the computers and library as space is limited.
- On busy days reduce computer use to one hour.
- Do not leave belongings at a computer as a means to reserve the space
- Printing – no color, double sided, minimal printing
- Do not print patient records.
- Limit your scanning/copying to single copies of library materials.
Food and Drinks
- Allowed: snacks and covered drinks
- Prohibited: meals, foods with strong odors and uncovered drinks
