Caregivers may make appointments to use the library computers. Go to the Room Scheduler to reserve a computer from the hours of 9:00-5:00 Monday through Friday.
The Library follows PPE and social distancing recommendations put forth by Cleveland Clinic. Face masks must be worn at all time while in the library. Maintain a distance of 6 feet between yourself and other caregivers. Please wipe down your work space after use. How to Reserve a Computer
Click on the arrow next to Alumni Library (PCs Only)
Then select a computer number (the library has 19 computers available) and select the time you would like to reserve.
Computer Reservation FAQs
- Can I study in the library or use my own computer in the library?
At this time the library is only open by reservation to use library computers. We currently are not approved to be used as a study space.
- How long can I use a library computer?
Because we are trying to make computers available to as many people who need them, we ask that reservations do not exceed 3 hours. If there is no reservation after yours you are free to continue to use it beyond the 3 hours.
- Can I use the computers if I don't have a reservation?
If there is a computer available, we can make a reservation at that moment.
- Can I look for books while in the library?
Please no. We are trying to keep the handling of books to a minimum. If you need a book please request it online or ask library staff.
- Can I reserve or use a library study room?
No, our rooms are currently not approved to be used at this time.
- If I need to leave the library can I come back?
You can return if you are still within your reservation time. If you come back after your reservations time, we may not be able to accommodate you due to covid-19 capacity limitations.
- Can I bring food or drinks into the library?
No food or drinks are allowed in the Library at this time.
