PubMed Training for IM Residents

Internal Medicine residents are required to meet with a librarian to review in-depth literature search strategies. You may use this opportunity to get started on research for your oral presentation, prepare for a journal club, clinical case, or explore any topic of interest. Session must be completed by February 1st of PGY1 Year.

When you are ready to meet with a librarian, please schedule and appointment by clicking this link or filling out the form on this page. Appointments usually last about 30 minutes, and should be scheduled in advance.

PubMed provides access to bibliographic information which includes MEDLINE as well as additional life science journals. Single Citation Matcher can locate specific articles quickly. The Journal Database can help with journal abbreviations.
